MANOEUVRES BY THE ITALIAN FLEET
Anglo-French Counter Demonstration PARIS. July 27. The French fleet in the Mediterranean is reported to be proceeding to Malta to join 65 British ships for a “counter demonstration” in the eastern Mediterranean, where the Italian Navy is concentrating for manoeuvres. The Chief of the German General Staff, General von Brauschltsch, is going to Italy on August 1 to attend the manoeuvres, if. is reported from Berlin.
