Stripped Of Decorations LONDON, July 27. The representative of the Associated Press of Great Britain in Moscow reports that 75 highly-plaeed officials, including several army officers of high rank, have been stripped of their decorations. Those who have been degraded include a former naval attache at Washington and prominent political figures.
SUSPICIOUS MOOD Action Against Visitors LONDON, July 27. The correspondent of “The Times” in Moscow says that Sir Evelyn and Lady Wrench were arrested and charged with photographing the Lenin Historical Museum, though not forbidden to do so. The charge wag dropped without an apology. The incident is typical of the intense suspicion of foreigners.
Sir Evelyn Wrench is vice-president and a founder of the Overseas League. Lady Wrench is honorary controller of the Overseas League.
