TEAMS ENTERTAINED
Members of basketball teams from Dgnnevirke High School, Wairarapa College and Wellington East Girls’ College were entertained by members of the Hutt Valley High School team at the assembly hall last night. The hall was gaily decorated with streamers representative of the various teams, and bunches of balloons. There were approximately 160 present. The programme included games and dancing, for which Mr. E. Aim was the master of ceremonies. Miss H. Woodhouse was the hostess.
Those present included Miss D. Doak, Dannevirke, and Miss R. Edwards, Wairarapa. Others present were the headmaster, Mr. J. N. Millard, and Mrs. Millard, members of the staff, including Misses W. Mather, M. A. Gardner, N. McLaren, N. Clibborn, and T. Maurais; Messrs. F. Ramson and W. Mason.
