PAMPHLETS ON WORLD AFFAIRS
“Oxford Pamphlets on World Affairs,” Nos. 1,2, 3 and 4 (Oxford: The Claredon Press).
This series of studies on world affairs is being produced in threepenny form with paper covers. The idea is a new one, and appears to be designed to apply to special aspects of contemporary questions which, though inadequate for the purposes of conventional-sized books are w.-ll worth attention in some permanent printed form. Indeed the scries might aptly be named the “news letters of the book-publishing world.” Pamphlet No. 1 is a study entitled “The Prospects of Civilization,” and is a review of the present-day international position written by Alfred Zimmern, Professor of International Relations at the University of Oxford. No. 2, “The British Empire” is an up-to-date review of Empire problems by Mr. H. V. Hodson, editor of “The Round Table.” No. 3 is an analysis of Herr Hitler’s “Mein Kampf,” by R. C. K. Ensor, Oxford, and No. 4 is a comprehensive little study, “Economic Self-Sufficiency,” by Professor A. G. B. Fisher of the Royal Institute of International Affairs.
