VOGUE THEATRE
“The Mikado” .Host of the actors in the screen version of “The Mikado," which will begin a short season at the Vogue Theatre, Brooklyn, today, are members of_ a famous stage company which has specialized in Gilbert and Sullivan productions, and, though they have had to fit their experience to a new medium of expression, they have infused the film wth the very atmosphere of the stage presentation. The colour effects, both of the bizarre costuming. 1 * and the picturesque hackgrounds of the Japan that is peculiar to “The Mikado,” increase the effect of actually watching a stage presentation.
