VISIT TO WELLINGTON
Wanganui Technical College Band
The Wanganui Technical College band of 36 members, with four masters of the college staff accompanying it, will arrive at Wellington this afternoon at 5 o'clock. The band is to broadcast in the 2ZB band session tomorrow morning. , , After the broadcast the boys ana teachers will be the guests of Port Nicholson Band, and in the afternoon, if the weather is fine, the band will give a performance in the Wellington College grounds, beginning at 2 o’clock. Billeting has been, arranged for 10 boys through the courtesy of Mr. W. A Armour, headmaster of Wellington College. and 10 boys have been provided for by the Wellington Technical College through the director, Mr. R. G. Ridliug. The rest of the party are providing their own accommodation. The president, vice-president, executive officers and mauy members, bandmasters and drum-majors of the Wellington Bands’ Association will officially welcome Mr. A. P. Byrnes, the bandmaster, and his boys tomorrow morning.
