LONDON, July 27. The stock and share markets are quiet. The good undertone- Is duel to the progress toward an Anglo-Russian pact. New Zealand bonds are firmer on the good reception accorded to the conversion following table gives the mean Stock Exchange quotations for consols and colonial inscribed stocks compared with those of July 20:—

The butter market is slightly more active Choicest New Zealand, salted 120/- a cwt., unsalted 121/-; Australian, salted and unsalted, 110/- to 111/-; Danish, 127/-. . r, The cheese market is slow. New Zealand, white 60/- a cwt., coloured 62/-; Australian, white 57/- to 59/-, coloured 60/- to 61/-. Mount Morgan Production Mount Morgan Limited yesterday cabled the Stock Exchange Association the following production report for the four weeks ended July 26:—Ore mined, 66,11 < tons; ore treated, sulphide, rfi.OOO tons, oxide, 28,200 tons; sulphide mill tailings retreated through oxide mill, 24,710 tons. Estimated production: Gold, 50360 z.; copper 254 tons, including 0 tons copper precipitation. During the period 194 tons blister copper was produced from concentrates.
