PETROL RESERVOIRS
Protection From Bombs The placing of reserves of petrol and crude oil in positions in which they would be safe from enemy bombs and shells was advocated by Mr. Grigg (Opposition. Mid-Canterbury) in the House of Representatives yesterday, when he gave notice of a question to the Minister of Defence. Mr. Grigg will ask whether, in view of the fact that our defence and agricultural industries are so largely dependent on petrol and crude oil. anything is being done to place bulk reserve supplies ir reservoirs which would be immune from enemy bombs and shells, and if not why not.
