SPAIN AND THE AXIS
Rumours Of Dissension Persist PARIS, July 26. The Spanish Embassy issued a communique denying reports of internal dissension in Spain, but rumours of a serious split continue. It is stated that army officials are now openly opposed to collaboration with the Axis Powers, to whom the Minister of the Interior, Senor Suner, is favourable, and that they prefer neutrality and friendship with England and France.,
