CENSURE MOTION DEFEATED
N.S.W. Rebellion Against Premier (Received July 28, 1.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, -July 27. The censure motion in the Legislative Assembly was defeated tonight by 41 votes to 39. Mr. Spooner voted with the Government, but six Government party members voted against it, revealing dissension in the ranks of the United Australia Party. During the debate these six referred to the Premier, Mr. Stevens, as a dictator' and expressed strong objection to machine politics.
