CELEBRITY CONCERT
In the Town Hall, Wellington, beginning at 8 o’clock tonight, a celebrity concert will be given in aid of the Wellington Boys’ College musical activities. In addition to items provided by the Port Nicholson Silver Band, the Wellington Symphony Orchestra, the Wellington Girls’ Choir, the Wellington Boys’ C'<y lege Choir, and the Wellington Boys' Trumpet Band, items will be provided by Miss Molly Atkinson, contralto; Miss Olga Burton, soprano; Mr. Roy Hill, tenor; Mr. Ken McCauley, baritone; the Bridges Trio—this will be their last appearance in New Zealand ; and a violoncellist from the Continent in her first public appearance in New Zealand, Mare Vandewart. The concert is under the patronage of Sir Michael MycrSj Chief Justice, and Lady Myers, and provides an opportunity for old boys of the college and their families to rally to support worth-while activities.
