Iu the men’s singles in the third round of the Western Canada championships Bromwich (Australia) beat Russell Kenington (Vancouver), 6-3. 6-0, and Hopman (Australia) beat Larry Hall (Vancouver), 6-0, 6-2. In the mixed doubles Tom Brown and Helen Gourlay (Vancouver) beat Hopman and Mrs. Mary Hnggart (Vancouver), 6-3, 3-6, 9-7, and Bromwich and Miss Eleanor Young, the Canadian national champion, beat Oscar Reels and Jean Eckhart (Vancouver), 6-0. 6-1. Tomorrow is an off day, and the Australians will be the guests of the Vancouver Racing Association.
