CAR’S PLUNGE INTO RIVER
Inquest On Driver Dominion Special Service WAIROA, July 26. “As there were no eye witnesses I cannot say whether this fatality was the result of an accident or not,” said the coroner, Mr. V. E. Winter, when returning his finding at an inquest held in Wairoa today into the death of Herbert Neil Galbraith, Hastings. He returned a verdict that Galbraith was killed when the car he was driving went over a bank into the Tahaenui River on July 13, there being no evidence to disclose how the car happened to go over the bank.
