An official photograph of the team will be taken at 9 a.m. After the Parliamentary farewell the rest of the day will be spent in other duties relating to the tour. The Kiwis are the heaviest Rugby League team to leave New Zealand, their average weight being 13 etone. The forwards, average 14 stone 61b., and the backs 11 stone 101 b. The side is faced with a particularly strenuous tour, but there is a general feeling of confidence in Rugby League circles in the Dominion that the team will emerge from the tour with credit to themselves and to New Zealand. The first match of the tour will be against St. Helens, England, on September 2, and the final match in England will be the third Test on December 16. The team will then visit France, where they will play six or seven matches. It is not expected that the team will return to New Zealand before the end of February.
