GLASGOW EXHIBITION
Plans Well Advanced
(British Official Wireless.) (Received December 17, 5 p.m.) Kugby, December 16. A formal invitation has been extended to the King to open the Empire Exhibition at Glasgow, for which preparations are well advanced. About £lO,OOO has been spent on buildings and in other directions. Mr. Walter Elliot, Secretary of State for Scotland, stated that the exhibition was expected to be visited by from 15,000,000 to 20,000,0,00 people.
