THE GAME OF BRIDGE
Wellington Club’s Evenings During the off season the activities of the Wellington Bridge Club have been confirmed to “cut-in” bridge and "recreation” evenings, which have lieen well patronised. The prizes for the recreation ej’ening held on November 30 were won by Mrs. Hutchison and Mrs. Ashley Duncan, North-South, and Mrs. Caldow and Miss Williams, East-West. The winning pairs for the evening of December 7 were Mrs. Caldow and Mrs. Ashton. North-South, and Miss Bunny and Dr. Hutchison, East-West. A "Howell” movement tournament was held this week, the winners being Mrs. Hutchison and Miss Bunny, and Mrs. Parkinson and Mrs. Render. At the committee meeting held this week. The president, Mr. 11. IL Young, made a presentation on behalf of the dub to Mr. J. C. Schneider, in appreciation of his services as hon. secretary and treasurer for the past two years.
