The Princess Royal has extended her interest in thoroughbred horses by buying the 13-year-old mare Wireless from His Majesty for 1300 guineas. This is her first venture as a bloodstock owner. Wireless is in foal to Lord Derby’s Fairway. She was bred by King George V.
