Utilise of Commons Recess.
Referring to the motion for the adjournment of the House of Commons for the Christmas recess, the Prime Minister, Mr. Chamberlain, stated that it would contain the usual provision to empower the Speaker to call the House together at an earlier date than February 1' if such a course was considered necessary in the public interest, reports a British official wireless message from Rugby.
