Opposition To Cession In France
DEBATE IN CHAMBER By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright (Received December 16, 11.40 p.m.) Paris, December 16. Strong opposition to the cession of colonies to Germany was expressed by Right and Left members in a debate in the Chamber of Deputies. M. Moutet, Minister of Colonies, declared that France would not have the matter forced on her until she was ready to consider it.
A Right deputy, M. Taittenger, questioned whether France was doing enough to protect her colonies. M. Moutet replied that everything possible was being done an'd would continue to be done.
