Salary £275/300 p.a„ according to qualifications and experience. Applicants should be expert cataloguers and should submit evidence of a thorough knowledge of library routine and problems of library organisation and administration. Particulars of education and experience should be furnished. (b) FIELD LIBRARIANS (2), (male). Salary up to £250 p.a. according to qualifications and experience (with commuted travelling allowance to 10/per day). Applicants should have a thorough general knowledge of library technique, a good education, and should be able to drive a car well. The vacancies arise in connection with a decision to give assistance to country libraries by loan services ol books and practical help in library management. Preference will be given to University graduates who satisfy the above requirements, and who have practical experience and understanding of rural conditions. (c) LIBRARY ASSISTANT (female).
