Search parties found at midnight the body of Pilot-Officer Jones of the Royal Air Force in the foothills near Lake Habbaniyah. His skull had been fractured and he had been stabbed several times. His bicycle was missing. Pilot Officer Jones had cycled to the lake from Dhibba Camp early in the evening.
