Rongotai And Wairarapa

The annual cricket match between Rongotai College ami Wairarapa High School commenced at the Kilbirnie Reserve yesterday in sunny weather, with a strong breeze. At stumps, Rongotai had a lead of 126 runs.- their team having scored 247 to High School's 121. The standard of cricket was very high, Rongotai's batting and fielding being especially commendable.
