The Birthrate
Sir, —In answer to “Another Woman” may I say that hurling abuse is a sign of bankruptcy of ideas, that many men definitely are qualified to discuss women and that she should not jump to conclusions about people of whom she knows nothing. She has not shown that women, in a position to have them, are justified in refraining from having children because of the threat of war. The pioneers had the threat of war, it. has been ever present down through the ages.—l am, etc., D. G. GREGORIE. Pahiatua, April 28.
