Attractive Sex
♦ Men Are Belter-looking Than Women ATEN are better-looking than women, even in Hollywood. Women seem better-looking, but they're not—they only look that way because they use cosmetics, hairdressers, and variegated clothes. Men seem drab by compare son because they have about, the same haircut, and wear about the same things and colours. Dress women as men dress, give them men's haircuts, ami they would look even less atraelive than men do. Actually, men as a rule are endowed by nature with better eyelashes, better eyebrows, better complexions than women. In a big family of boys and girls you'll find more handsome brothers than sisters. It’s nature's idea: not mine. Mau, like other male animals and birds, started out to be the attractive sex, and women chose their mates. As soon as man got the notion that he was boss, and began to do the choosing, women began to make themselves as attractive as possible—and now look. —Willy Pogany, Illustrator, In Baltimore “Sun.”
