Union Cargo Service

The following are the movements of Union Company vessels engaged in its intercolonial cargo service:—

The Gabriella, from Grafton, Coff’ts Harbour, Port Stephens and Newcastle, reached Auckland on Tuesday morning. She is to leave there again to-day for Whangarei, (hence to Greymouth to load for Sydney. The Kaikorai, from Newcastle and Sydney, reached Auckland on Tuesday evening. She is to leave there again to-mor-row for Wellington to complete discharge, and is due here next Monday.

The Kairanga is to load at Newcastle todav and completes at Sydney for Auckland.

The Kalingo is to leave Newcastle to-day for Sydney and Eden to complete loading for Picton, Wanganui and Greymouth.

'The Karepo is to load at Newcastle tomorrow and completes at Sydney for Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. The Karetu, from Newcastle, Port Stephens, Sydney, Port Kembla, and Hobart, was to have left Bluff yesterday for Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru and Lyttelton to complete discharge. The Kauri, from Adelaide, Edithburg and Melbourne, is to leave Portland to-day for Napier and Wellington to complete discharge.

The Kekerangu left Wellington last night for Sydney.

The Omana will load at Adelaide about April 3 and completes at Edithburg and Melbourne for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Tarakohe. She is to clear Melbourne on April 0. The Waitaki, replacing the Marama after her next voyage to Wellington, is to leave Wellington on April 8, Lyttelton on April 9, Dunedin on April 10, and Bluff on April 12 for Melbourne. She will leave Melbourne again on April 21 for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington. The Waikouaiti, now undergoing overhaul at Port Chalmers, is to leave there on April 5 for Bluff, thence to Sydney. She will then load at Newcastle about April 13 and completes at Sydney for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru and Lyttelton. Australind Reports The New Zealand Shipping Company has received a wireless message from the M.-A.-N.Z. Line motor-ship Australind, en route from Halifax, reporting that she expects to reach Auckland at noon next Sunday. She will later complete discharge at Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin, and is due here about April 8. AORANGI AT SUVA. The C.-A. motor-liner Aorangi, eu route from Vancouver, via Honolulu, Is due at Suva at 11 a.m. to-day. She will leave there again at 5 p.m. to-day for Auckland, where she is due oa Sunday evening. The Aorangi will leave Auckland again at 10 p.m. next Monday for Sydney. ROTORUA CLEARS COLON. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received cabled advice that its liner Rotorua cleared Colon last Sunday. She left Wellington on March 6 for London, via the Panama Canal. CANADIAN CONSTRUCTOR AT BOSTON. Cabled advice has been received that the M.A.-N.Z. Line steamer Canadian Constructor, running to the agency of the Federal Company, reached Boston on March 27. She left Auckland on February 18 for New York, Boston and Halifax. SYDNEY STAR'S PASSENGERS. The Blue Star Line motor-ship Sydney Star, which is now to clear Lyttelton finally to-day for London, via the Panama Canal, will take the following passengers:— Colonel and Mrs. W. F. Shakespear, Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Barter, Miss Howard. Miss C. Turner. Mr. and Mrs. C, L. Slyfield, Mr. and Mrs. J. Moss, Mr. anj Mrs. P. Ashcroft. Dr. W. It. Stowe is acting as ship’s surgeon. CANADIAN CONQUEROR LEAVES HALIFAX. Cabled advice has beeu received that the M.-A.-N.Z. Line steamer Canadian Conqueror, running to the agency of the Federal Company, left Halifax last Sundav for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland on May 4. FORDSDALE AT LONDON. The Shaw, Savill Company has received cabled advice that the Fordsdale reached London last Monday. She left Lyttelton on February 20 for London, via the Panama Canal. HUNTINGDON CLEARS COLON. Cabled advice has been received by the Federal Company that the Huntingdon cleared Colon last Sunday. She left Port Chalmers on March 6 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via the Panama Canal. THE KARAFUTO -MARU. Wright, Stephenson and Co.. Ltd., have received advice that the Japanese steamer Karafuto Maru, en route from Japan with sulphur for Auckland, Lyttelton and Wanganui. cleared the New Hebrides on Tuesday. She is due at Auckland next Monday. TONGARIRO CLEARS CURACAO. Cabled advice has been received by the Federal Company that the Tongariro, en route from Liverpool to Auckland, Napier. Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, cleared Curacao last Monday. She is due at Auckland on April 22. WAIR AN GI DELA Y E D. Delayed at Lyttgjton, the Shaw, Savill motor-ship Wairangi is now to clear that port finally to-morrow for London, via Cape Horn and Las Palmas.. PASSENGERS BY THE CHANGTE. The A. & O. Line steamer Changte. which left Sydney on March 20 for Manila and Hong-Kong, carried the following passengers from New Zealand: —

CORNWALL AT LONDON The Federal. Company has received cabled advice that the Cornwall reached London last Sundav. She loft Napier on February 12 for Boston. Halifax, London..Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via the Panama Canal.

TAIROA LEAVES LIVERPOOL. Cabled advice has been received by the Shaw Savill Company that, the lairoa left Liverpool last Saturday for Australia. After discharge there she will load Homeward in New Zealand during May-June.

MATUA IN PORT. With fruit from the Islands, the Lmon Company’s motor-ship Matua is due at Wellington this morning from Auckland, and will berth at the Taranaki St. u hart. She is to leave here again later to-day for Picton. is due back here to-morrow, and will leave again on Saturday for Auckland, thence on April 6 to the Islands.

KANGITATA DUE TO-DAY. To complete her Homeward loading, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s motorliner Rangltata is due at Wellington about noon to-ilav from Auckland, and will berth at the Glasgow Wharf. She is to clear this port finally on April 7 for Londou via the Panama Canal.

TANKER BULLMOUTH. With bulk oil for the Shell Oil Compaiiy, the tanker Bullmouth is due at Wellington about April 20 from Balik Papan. She will later complete discharge at Lyttelton.

Kearny IN.J.), four Arcform tankers of 12.800 tons dw. each for Hie Standard Oil Company of New Jersey ; Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company. Manitowoc (Wis.), electrically-welded tank steamer of 2.700.660 gals, capacity for Standard Oil Company of Indiana; Marietta Manufacturing Company, Point Pleasant (Va.). stern-wheel river steamer. 200 ft. length, and stern-wheel all-welded towim* vessel for Standard Oil Company of New Jersey; Maryland Drydock Company, Balitmore (Md.), five railway ferries, 250 ft. length, for the Pennsylvania Railroad, and a Diesel-electric ferry for Norfolk (Va.) service; Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Company two tugs for the C. and O. Railway; Sun Shipbuilding and Drydock Company, Chester (Pa.), motor-tanker ot 15.000 tons dw. for the Socony Vacuum Oil Company, motortanker of 15.890 tons for the Pan-American Petroleum and Transport Company, steam tanker of 18.500 tons dw. for the Atlantic Refining Company, two steam tankers ot 12 900 tons dw. for the Standard Oil Company of New Jersey, two steam tankers o’ 12,800 tons dw. for the Standard Oil Company of California, and two motortankers’of 12.000 tons dw. tor the lexas Company: United Shipyards.
