Dunedin City Council Tributes By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, March 31. Tributes to the service rendered to Dunedin by Mr. G. A. Lewin as town clerk for the past 26 years were paid by the mayor, Rev. E. T. Cox, and members of the city council at a meeting of the council to-night. Mr. Lewin’s retirement took effect from midnight to-night and he is to have six months’ leave of absence with full pay as from to-morrow.
