JAIL FOR THEFT OF TOOLS

Dominion Special Service Palmerston North, March 30. Stated by Detective Compton to have stolen tools to the value of 7/0 from a man who had befriended him, Martin Johansen, aged (10, labourer, Sanson, was to-day sentenced by Messrs. AV. Low Blaeli and M. A. Eliott, J.P.’s. to a month's imprisonment. The tools belonged to Frederick William Paddy.
