Gonviile Club’s Tourney Dominion Special Service. Wanganui, March 80. The Gonviile Croquet Club’s Easter tournament was continued in threatening weather to-day. The final of the handicap doubles was' an exciting contest, Ogier and Mrs. Ogier beating Mesdanies Lynch and Michie by a margin of three points. The tourney will probably be concluded to-morrow. Results of to day’s play are as follows:— HANDICAP DOUBLES. Semi-final: Ogier and Mrs. Ogier beat Mrs. Burrell and Harrison, 26-24. Final: Ogier and Mrs. Ogier beat Mesdanies Lynch and Michie. 26-23. LEVEL SINGLES, A GRADE. Second round : Shield beat. Mrs. Michie, 26-23; Mrs. Wansbrough beat Mrs. MeClymont, 26-20. Third round: Mrs. Ilolroyd bent Mrs. Fisher, 26-11; Harrison beat MeClymont, 26-17; Shield bent Mrs. Clark, 26-5. LEVEL SINGLES. B GRADE. Second round: Mrs. Svenson beat Mi's. Mclntyre. 26 3; Mrs. Warnock beat Mrs. Dixon, 26-19; Mrs. Brown beat Mrs. Chapman, 26-17; Mrs. Hoar beat Mrs. Morgan, 26-15; Mrs. Burrell beat Mrs. Andrews, 26-10. HANDICAP SINGLES, A GRADE. Second round: Mrs. MeClymont beat Mrs. Fisher, 26-10. Third round: Mrs. MeClymont beat Mrs. Wood, 26-13. Semi-finals: Ogier beat Mrs. Bassett Smith, 26-9; Mrs. MeClymont beat Mrs. Clark.
