OBITUARY
Mrs. John Robson There died recently at her residence, “Deansburn,” Balgownie, Mrs. John Robson, a highly-respected resident of Wanganui, of half a century’s standing, Mrs. Robson, a native of Ayrshire, came out to Otago with her busband and infant son in 1879. After a few years’ residence in Dunedin and later at Waipukurau, the family settled iu Wanganui. Mrs. Robson is survived by her husband ami a family of three daughters and four sons. Those arc Messrs. .1, T. Robson (Christchurch, formerly of Wairoa, Hawke’s Bay), Albert Robson (New Plymouth), Austen Robson (Nelson), and Roderick Robson (AVanganui), and Mesdames M. Chisholm (Auckland), E. Emanuel and C. G. Webster (Wanganui). The late Mrs. C. Cameron, of Wangaehu Valley, was also a daughter. Mr. E. Maxwell The death is announced in a Tauranga Press Association message of Mr. 13. Maxwell, formerly of Taranaki and latterly :i resident of Tauranga. He was lhe author of '“Afforestation in Southern Lands" and ■Recollections and Reflections of an Old New Zealander.”
