ENJOYABLE CONCERT

British Sailors’ Society A concert consisting of piano, singing, dancing and elocutionary items was given by Mr. C. A. Cooze and party to the British Sailors’ Society in Wellington on Saturday night. The programme opened with community singing, after which items were contributed by lite following: Miss Wyn Chown’s pupils (dancing), Misses Marjory 'Whittington, Violet Smith, Gwitli Dear. Taieri Dear, Gloria Kcmsley, Joan Eteveneaux, Audrey Bowen, Peggy McFadden, Jocelyn McEwen. Marjory Boni, Kathleen Jamieson, MesdatrVs Cleveland, Jansen and Rosenthal. Messrs. Lynch, Cooze and Graham Eteveneaux'. The accompanists were Mesdames Rosenthal and Jansen, Miss V. Smith and Mr. Lynch.
