The records of the Government Tourist. Bureau in Auckland show that for this time of the year there is considerably more travel business as compared with recent years, and the travel figures for the year ended March 31 last have bedn doubled compared with those of two years previously. The bookings show that New Zealand people arc travelling more than they did, and this fact is interpreted as a sign of better times for business In general. Usually the tourist business slackens to very little in the month of June, but tdiis year has been an exception.
