Sam Leathers (16st.) defeated Pet® Mehringer (15st.) in the fifth round of a wrestling contest here to-night. Mehringer attempted a flying tackle, but Leathers dropped to the mat and Mehringer went over the top of him and through the ropes. He struck his head heavily on the floor and was unable to continue.
