Eggs Now Selling Cheaper
Several alterations have taken place in the prices of groceries and fruit in Wellington. Eggs are now down to 2/2, 1/11 and 1/9. and cut rashers of bacon are selling at from 1/1 to 1/5 a pound. Cheese has increased Id. Jamaican oranges are now off the market, and grapes have increased to 3/- lb. Pineapples are 1/6 to 2/- each, and sprouts are retailed at from 6d. to Bd. a pound.
