New Zealand Shipment
(Received June 8, 10.40 p.m.)
Sydney, June 8.
Six hundred New Zealand sheep, consigned to Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, arrived by the Wanganella, which had a fine Tasman crossing. The sheep, which arrived in good order, consist of Romneys, Southdowns, Border Leicesters and Corriedales of mixed sexes. It is understood that the object of the importations is to improve Australian mutton breeds. Fifteen stud Corrledales will be transhipped to South Africa.
