MALE VOICE CHOIR

The first concert of the 1936 season will be given by the Wellington Male Voice Choir on Thursday next, in the concert chamber of the Town Hall. The choir ranks have been augmented since the annual meeting, nnd the committee, while recognising the difficulty of offering a programme of sufficient interest to attract those who are definitely interested in male voice part singing, has finalised a programme which is expected to attain that object. The soloists will be Miss Molly Beveridge, sonraiio; Mr. Eggerton Pegg, tenor: Mr. S. Evelyn Rodger, baritone. Mr. Clement Bowe will as usual be the accompanist, and the choir will be under the direction of Mr. Frank Oakes. The box plan is nt Begg’s.
