Prospective Activities Of Legislators An indication that Government and Opposition members intend to make use of the forthcoming adjournment of Parliament for the purpose of delivering political addresses in tlie country districts was given during the second reading debate on the State Advances Corporation Bill in the House of Representatives yesterday. Mr. J. G. Barclay (Government, Marsden) said that during the coming recess it was the intention of Government members to go out into the country and discuss witli the electors the State Advances Corporation Bill ami other measures that had been passed by Parliament.
Tlie Hon. A. Hamilton (Opposition. Wallace) : We might do the same. Mr. Barclay: I hope you do, and I invite tlie honourable member to come to Whangarei and address tlie people there.
