“Bring-and-Bny” Afternoon A very successful ‘‘briug-and-buy” afternoon was held at the home of Mrs. A. Alan Tenuent, Moxliam Avenue, Hataitai, in aid of Plunket committee funds. Items were given by Mrs. Marshall and Mrs. Maurice Clark, and a delicious home-made afternoon tea was served by the committee. Among those present were: Mesdames Tlngey, Stringer, Scott, Horley, Zohrab, Hands, Dunlop, Turnbull, Donaldson, Duncan, Kersley, Sidney Smith, McTaggett, Watson, Burton, Lightbody, Yeats, J. Foster, Shirer, Walshe, Boker, Booth, Hamilton, Middlemass, P. Hylton, Tunnington, Ainslie, Tyndall, Thompson, Watt, B. Johns, Matthews, Stringer, Misses Coalman, Geddis, Taylor (Hong-. Kong), Mac Duff, Johns (Dunedin), D. Mills, Luke. The committee who so successfully arranged the afternoon were Mesdames A. Tenuent, Blakely, H. R. Baigent, Edmonds, S. Luke. E. C. Heald. Biss, Boyes, Coates. Reenberg, and Miss Peach.
