He also showed attractive form when tried over hurdles, but he has been off the scene for a long time. Retired. The three-year-old filly Hororata, by Tea Tray from Scrip, -has finished her racing career, and she has been sent home to ■Sir Charles Clifford’s. Stonyhurst Stud, where she will take up stud life. She was a smart .performer as a two-year-old, but she failed to strilie form this season. Auckland Nominations. ■Nominations for the Easter meeting of the Auckland Racing Club, and forfeit for the Great Northern Champagne, Oaks and St. Leger Stakes, will close with Mr. W. Spence to-day at 5 o’clock. Westport Entries. The time for the closing of nominations for the annual meeting of the Westport Jockey Club, to be held on April 4 and 6, has been extended to 9 p.m. to-morrow.
