The fact that it has been revived year after year in different parts of the world, and that it was recently revived in London, is evidence of its popular appeal. It is generally agreed that Hie two greatest British dramatists of their time are Mr. Bernard Shaw and Sir James Barrie, and it is to the credit of Hie Wellington Repertory Society that plays by these authors wer* chosen to commence and close the first ten years' work. It is an appropriate coincidence, too. that Mr. Leo du Chateau, who initiated the repertory movement tn Wellington. should have the distinction or directing both productions, "Pygmalion in 1926 ami “The Admirable Crichton in 1936 Al 9 o’clock to-morrow morning box plans for (he Wellington Repertory Theatre Society’s production of "The Vlmirable Crichton” will be opened to the public at the D.I.C. The piny will be staged in the Concert Chamber lor five performances, commencing on Tuesday next.
