McCarten, who resumed riding on Saturday after having completed his period of fc’iispension, won the second division on Lord Sun. Mr. L. Haigh announced to-day that Rogilla has run bis last race and is to be retired. Mr. Haigh. who leased Rogilla throughout his racing career, said that the gelding had developed a round bone and it was useless persevering witli bis preparation. TRENTHAM STATISTICS Distribution of Stakes The most successful owner at the Wellington autumn meeting was Mr. G. M. Currie, whose two horses, Spiral and Entail, won £560. Silver Ring’s Thompson success gained £455 for Mr. A. H. Walton; and Mr. T. A. Duncan, owner of the double winner Entheos, and Mr E. Huy. owner of Greek Shepherd, also won over £4OO.
