Five-year-old Boy Falls Under Motor-lorry By Telegraph—Press. Association. Dunedin, March 18. A five-year-old boy, James Masson, was killed instantly ' shortly before noon to-day, when he fell under the wheels of a heavy motor-lorry on the Main South Road. Tlie victim, with a companion, was indulging in the age-old practice among small boys of "whipping behind” a motor-lorry from Gore. Masson slipped and fell beneath the rear wheel of the vehicle, which passed over his head, completely crushing it. The lorry was owned by Messrs. R. and F. Wallis (Gore), and was driven by Mr. R. L. Agnew. Deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Masson, 484 Main South Road, Cavershaui.
