Mickey’s Kangaroo

TMIE three kangaroos Walt Disney recently received as a gift from an Australian admirer are co-starred with Mickey Mouse in his latest film, “Mickey’s Kangaroo.” Leapo, tlie father, Hoppo, the mother, and Poucho, the little baby, literally leap to fame in this latest United Artists’ release. Mickey just calls them plain kangaroos, while Pluto thinks of them as nothing more or less than “overgrown grasshoppers.” In this cartoon Walt Disney also presents another new and novel idea. This nw screen development must be put into the category of science. It is thought transference, and it is the thoughts of Phito, the Pup, that get transferred. The audience is given a bird’s-eye view of Pluto’s mind, and its subtle mechanisms are opened to view.
