Man Found Guilty by Jury

A verdict of guilty was returned by n jury in the Wellington Supreme Court, yesterday, against Albert Kearnes, a middle-aged man. charged with obtaining £27/14/6 from tile licensee of the Martinborough Hotel by means of a valueless cheque. Prisoner, who was represented by Mr. J. D. Willis, was remanded until Friday for sentence.
