SEVERAL CONCERTS
Victoria Hospital Patients
Entertained
Tin? patients at Victoria Hospital have been entertained with several concert parties recently, all of which were thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated. Mrs. Rolland O’Regan gave a musical afternoon, when items were given by herself and Miss E. Clark, Miss E. Doyle (Auckland), Mrs. W. Dowling, Miss S. Walker and Miss Doyle. Mrs. C. Jupp was another who took a party as did also Mrs. Thompson. A varied programme was presented by the latter, the artists totting Miss G. Webb. Mrs. Matthews, Mr. S. Harris, Miss V. Fitzgerald, Miss G. Webb, Mrs. K. Thomson, Miss P- Perton, Miss Webb, Mr. S. Harris and Master A. Johnson. The Rev. Mr. Harding gave an entertainment also, in the men’s and women’s wards. The ward was arranged in lounge fashion and bright fires made it cosy and attractive. On this occasion items were given by Miss Gardiner, Mrs. Gunley, Mr. L. Pyne, Mr. House, Mr. E. Corbett, Mr. H. B. Robb, Mr. House, Miss Evans.
Thanks were given to all those who had given their time to entertain the patients.
