Leading Scores in the Season’s Aggregate

W. BIRCH HEADS THE LIST

The leading scores in the season’s aggregate, which comprises all the matches held under the auspices of the New Zealand Miniature Rifle Association for the year, are given below. They comprise the scores in the Tidal] Cup, the Winchester Cup, and the Palma Cup competitions. There are still two twenty-shot competitions to 'be decided, the New Zealand championships and the Witcomibe and Caldwell Cup. There are 29 riflemen who have only dropped five points or less out of 500. Heading the list is W. Birch (.Longburn), with a 500 possible. This rifleman has been runner-up for the last two years. L. Hare, who dropped one point in the first match, holds second place with 499. As has been mentioned in the results of the various matches, the shooting this year is of a very high standard, as will readily be seen from the scores which follow:—
