FOR ST. JAMES’S PARISH

Those who wish, to spend a pleasant afternoon next Saturday should visit the beautiful garden at Woburn, Lower Hutt, which will be kindly lent by Mrs. Vivian Riddiford for the, annual garden party of St. James’s Parish. Pretty frocks, music, tea under shady trees and games of all sorts will make a gay scene. A conjuring display and a Punch and Judy show will provide entertainment, and the Hutt Band will be in attendance. An added attraction will be tjie tulip garden. There will be cake, produce-, sweet, fancy-work, aprou and handkerchief stalls. The garden party will be opened at 2.30 p.m. by Archdeacon Hansell. If wet, there will be a sale of work in St. James’s Parish Hall.
