STREETS CLOSED

Christmas and New Year’s Eves Cuba and Manners Streets are to be closed for motor traffic between 7 p.in. and 10 p.in. on Friday, the retailers’ Christmas Eve. Hitherto Willis Street has been included in the embargo, but on this occasion motorcars will be allowed the free use of that city thoroughfare. The traffic regulation mentioned will also apply to the following Friday, the commercial New Year’s Eve.
