The new method of coaching schoolboys, as adopted by the Auekland Cricket Association this season, is having splendid results, according to a report submitted to the management committee of the governing body (remarks the “Herald.”) With the keen and active co-operation of the playercoaches, the headmasters and school teachers, it was felt that much more ground was being covered and greater progress achieved than by any former method tried in Auckland. During the school vacation, it is intended to pursue the coaching, when three or four prominent local cricketers will be engaged for a fortnight, on an intensive schema ' - •' - ■
