FLOWER SHOW
Northland Society The autumn show of the Northland Horticultural Society was held last week, Hie opening ceremony being performed by Mr. W. M. Page. In the chrysanthemum class the champion bloom was exhibited by Mr. S. it. Watkius. Vegetables were above the usual standard, and die school work was again a prominent feature. A beautiful basket of aulurau leaves and berries decorated by Mrs. Fred Petherick was much admired. A handsome bouquet was presented to Mrs. Page. Ganley won Mrs. Rastall's trophy for most points at three shows. In the domestic section. Mrs. Honsa, having gained highest points in all three shows, won the trophy donated by Messrs. Vance-Vivian.
