DEADLY THOUGHTS
Killing by Suggestion NEW AMERICAN CULT Vancouver, April 27. A cult believing in death by mental suggestion was revealed in the suit by A. 11. Barley for the recovery of 11.000 dollars, which, he said, he paid Aime de Vladez, head of the Aquarian Foundation. R. M. Pointer, a former member, told the court that de Vladez, from London, had written telling him to kill the At-torney-General by exercising mental suggestion on him. Mrs. Mary Connelly was awarded two islands used by the sect for which she had paid do Vladez 35,000 dollars. She swore that she was yoked io a plough and forced to scrub floors.
